For me, using silkscreen offers a fluid, rapid and exciting way to generate images. One major difference of silkscreen is the type of ink; I still use oil-based inks for their depth of colour and range of both opaque and transparent possibilities. But it is the liquidity of this ink that challenges me; it's about how one pushes this substance around, how one manages it's desire to spill everywhere and deposit itself where you don't want it to. The bigger the print, the more this beast has to be tamed!
